"Wycliffe" (1996) - TV Series
"Gary Creed's bad luck" review by H.A.
Some police go over to the Creed residence (haha), and break some bad news to Mrs. Creed and her son Gary that her daughter (and his sister (duh!)) was found strangled. They are obviously upset by the news, and after the police leave Gary takes the family truck and takes off.
Next thing we see of Gary he's getting out of the truck (which is parked outside a house) with a pipe or something, maybe a wrench? No. A pipe. Let's just say a pipe. Out of the truck also comes his little brother (I guess), and they go up to the front door of the house. He bangs on the door, obviously in a very erratic (?)state. His brother asks him what he's doing and he's just all like "What do you think?" and then he opens the door or something and tells the boy to "close the door" and then we see a bit of him waving the pipe around and then when the door closes we hear sounds indicating that he's beating the living @#%$ out of someone with the pipe.
And then I can't remember some of the stuff in the middle, and then the police find the guys dead body in his house, his head bleeding. And then they figure out that Gary probably did it (or something) and I guess they find him or something, or maybe he's at the place? Yeah, I think he was. Anyways, the cops find him and he of course doesn't want to get arrested so he fends off one of the detectives with a sharp thing (some sort of knife), gettin' her in the elbow or something, then he throws it away as he runs and then one of the cops/detectives tackle him to the ground and he's all like "Get off me!" It's kinda funny.
And then he's being questioned at the police station or whatever and we find out that the man he killed had threatened to kill his sister and that that's why he thought that he killed her. But then it takes an interesting turn when we discover that the man he killed did not in fact kill his sister! And that they had found some other strangled women and that it was probably a random killing.
And so you know, Gary Creed goes to jail, they catch the real killer, the end.
