Les Miserables (1998)

Synopsis
Jean Valjean is convicted of stealing a loaf of bread which results in a life on the run. Jean falls in love with the beautiful and poverty-stricken Fantine. After his death, he raises her daughter Cosette as his own. Much later, Cosette falls in love with Marius a young revolutionary and once again become the object of obsessive policeman, Javert's attention Jean chooses to sacrifice his own freedom to save Cosette's love.
