2010 is off to a good start with "Sherlock Holmes" proving a huge success at the box office (overshadowed only by the mammoth success of "Avatar" starring Sam Worthington, who also stars in the upcoming "Clash Of the Titans") and SH star Robert Downey Jr winning a Golden Globe for best actor in a comedy or musical. The Sherlock Holmes gallery has been updated with some captures from a TV feature.

Clash of The Titans is reportedly shooting some more footage and there's talk of converting to 3D. We'll keep you informed of any news.

The Sherlock Holmes premiere was held in London on Monday night but there have been no glimpses of Hans in any of the video footage or photos posted thus far. A Behind the Scenes clip was shown on HBO's "First Look" which included this excerpt showing Robert Downey Jnr inviting Hans to punch him in the stomach. Caps have also been added to the gallery. In Clash of the Titans news, a new photo has been released featuring Sam Worthington as Perseus, Hans as Ixas, Ian Whyte as Sheikh Suleiman, Gemma Arterton as Io and Liam Cunningham as Solon. More details here. There is also a second trailer released, which shows the Kraken and has more dialogue. It is now available to view at the Clash of The Titans official site and apparently, at a cinema near you, attached to Avatar.

The stars of Sherlock Holmes - Robert Downey Jnr, Jude Law, Rachel McAdam and Kelly Reilly are expected to grace the red carpet for tonight's premiere at Leicester Square, London. Hopefully Hans will also be in attendance. Also getting a bit of early buzz is Clash of the Titans. A new trailer is floating around various sites, with Warner Brothers techies in hot pursuit. Expect to see a theatrical trailer attached to a big new release (Sherlock Holmes? Avatar?) real soon. In the meantime, some new posters have been released

English actress Anna Friel plays Erzsebet Bathory (Elizabeth Bathory), the 16th Century Hungarian countess also known as 'The Blood Countess' who is listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the woman who murdered the most people in history. Some say Bathory killed 600, others say she killed up to 2000. She is one of the first known serial killers.The film is a thriller with a lot of action directed by the fantasy Slovak filmmaker, Juraj Jakubisko. The producer worked on Natural Born Killers (Quentin Tarantino's first screenplay). It is the most expensive Eastern European film ever made. And it has broken all box office records in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It seems Ixas is part of the Honour Guard whose job it is to protect Andromeda, and who join Perseus on a "revenge mission", acording to Sam worthington. See the MTV site for details.

According to IMDb, Clash Of The Titans is now in post-production.

Sherlock Holmes will get a promotion at the San Diego Comic Con on Friday, July 24, 2009 in Hall H. Details here. A new International Trailer has been released and can be viewed here.

The Mists Of Avalon galleries have been updated and upgraded , including some Behind The Scenes captures by Brooke from the German DVD release.
The Doctor Zhivago pages are in the process of a revamp, in preparation for the imminent closure of The Zhivago Galleries which are at present hosted at Geocities.

Two new Sherlock Holmes posters have been released during the last week. You can check them out in our Sherlock Holmes gallery. Filming on Clash Of The Titans will begin in Dinorwig Quarry, Wales from Monday 29th June for approximately a month. For more information go here or here

Apparently, Clash Of The Titans has finished filming in th Canary Islands and is once again filming in the UK. There'll be studio work and locations in Wales amongst others.

Clash Of the Titans is now listed at IMDb, ans, as reported earlier, Hans plays the role of Ixas. Filming is presently underway in the Canary Islands and the all-star cast includes Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Mads Mikkelson, Gemma Arterton, Sam Worthngton, Danny Huston and Jason Flemyng. It looks like a March 2010 release.

Big news of the week, and not an April Fools joke, is the news that Hans has been cast as Ixas in the upcoming movie, "Clash of the Titans" with Sam Worthngton and Gemma Arterton, amongst others. Few details are available at the moment but filming apparently starts this month in the Canary Islands.

There is a "new" article from a 1998 Empire Magazine about Still Crazy and a copy of an autographed poster recently available on Ebay to go with it. Thanks to Brooke, who also generously donated a larger version of a Mojo picture from The Face article
